Rooster or Hen?

My rooster never crowed, had spurs, tried mating, and even had female feathering up until he was about 7 months old. Longest it ever took me to realize a gender of a bird. I have also have a female bird exhibit male behavior such as mating and having some hackle feathers but she still lays eggs. I would give the bird at least a little more time until you can say for sure what's going on.

I still think it's a rooster. Strange it hasn't crowed or laid an egg by 7 months, but some are slower to mature.

But there aren't any hackle, saddle or sickle feathers, and those would be at least coming in by now.

No spurs no crowing... but definitely not very hen like.

In the one photo I think I can see those hackle and saddle feathers, but I could be wrong.
