We have some young, about 5 month old, RIRs. We hatched many and have several roosters and one very dominant one, We call him Henry VIII. He is very aggressive with the hens (although some of them chase him off afterwards LOL). What we are curious about is his legs..the backs of his legs and feet are very red. Is this a sign of a Rooster on the Prowl? Just a thing with RIRs? None of the smaller, less dominant roos seem to have red legs? Ideas?
