My Marans rooster has a cut on his foot that is slightly bloody and I noticed a couple of the hens following him like a puppy and picking at it. I caught him and sprayed it with Blu-kote but they're still bothering him. Suggestions, please.

I would cage him inside the coop or run for a couple of days, and use neosporin until it starts to heal, then switch to BluKote when you let him out. Another cream called Nustock can be applied to it and it tastse and smells bad to the chickens. It is sulfur and pine oil, and will help heal a lot of irritated areas.
