Rooster with wry neck- treatment

My poor boy has had wry neck for 4 weeks. With daily vitamin E given to him by mouth. He got better for a while and he's a bit better but he's still holding his head crooked, what is the dosage needed for severe wry neck

500 i.u. a day, plus rooster booster b12 about 2-3 ml a day
