Rooster???

These are cochins and only a day a part in age....We are new to this and trying to figure out if the one is rooster

Well, pictures are hard to tell, so...
1)Roosters stand really upright
2)Are bigger
3)Get crests and gobble faster and bigger
4)Get HUGE spurs

I have SL cochins and my 2 hens look like your front bird, and my roo's comb/wattles are identical to yours! Definitely a roo =)

Well we were thinking the one was a roo but there has been no crowing....they are about 4mos old

Thanks that's what we were thinking but weren't sure...didn't really want a roo because we wanted them for the eggs...but I'm told as long as I check for eggs daily then it's ok...

mine doesnt crow either...thankfully! we have 4 roos right now and only one crows, if any more do my hubby will loose his marbles LOL
