Roster Surprise but a beauty. What the hell is it?

We got 9 chicks but surprised at 11 weeks when this thing crowed. He has since taken over the other four adult hens as well as the 8 his own age - about 13 weeks now. Anyone ever seen anything like this? Has to have some polish in him for sure. Afraid we well have to sell him - or eat him. Any comments appreciated.

Got him from Pomona Feed in Pomona California. Don't know what hatchery they order from. He is available for trade anywhere in So Cal.

Well, if he’s from a feedstore, he’s likely not a mix, though he doesn’t match any color of polish I know of.

Good-looking fellow. He must have a winning personality to have charmed the adult hens at that young age.

I'd guess he was some kind of "egger" hybrid, but that's more crest than I'd expect from CLB blood.
