Rouen eggs vrs Silver Appleyard duck eggs

Is there anyway to tell apart Silver Appleyard duck eggs and Rouen duck eggs?

I had a hard time finding this.

Hi My silver appleyard lays very nice white eggs but I dont have a rouen so I was thinking can you separate them at night and see what eggs they lay? then you would know which is which? Maybe put a dog crate inside your coop with one of the ducks in it ?

Huh, maybe I should try that sometime! Thanks for the idea! We've been getting some off white eggs from some rouens. All are ducks are getting to that age where they are starting to lay eggs, however it's like 2 weeks early for the silver appleyards, and we recently got 2 larger white eggs. Can rouens lay those kind of eggs?
