Crowing
In FL, people mistake the powered lime stone for sand. Power lime stone does not "perk" and water stands on it like clay. Dig a drainage ditch/french drain and put the wood chips down and your problem is solved.

I wonder if i could call local tree services and see if they would have anything?? I was looking for “mulch” but not dyedThe sandy soil is good for drainage, or at least it is here.
The wood chippings are what decompose the poops.
The coarser the wood chippings the longer they will last,
this is why chippings from a tree trimmer will last much longer than anything that comes in a bag.
Often times they will deliver the load for free ( they have to pay to dump otherwise). Just be prepared for a large load and to let it age for a couple weeks before use.I wonder if i could call local tree services and see if they would have anything?? I was looking for “mulch” but not dyed
Definitely a possibility....but....I wonder if i could call local tree services and see if they would have anything??
This^^^ best to have space to keep a large pile out of the way, so you can add it to run a bit at a time.Often times they will deliver the load for free ( they have to pay to dump otherwise). Just be prepared for a large load and to let it age for a couple weeks before use.
