~Run With The Pack~ Wolf Roleplay

Quote:

Sunny was a bit cautious, but after a second, she replied, "I'm Sunny." With a slightly warier tone, she added, "Are you from a pack?"

_______

Hunter sighed. "Thanks, Solar."
"No," she replied. "I'm a loner. Are you from a pack?"

______

Solar laid down beside Hunter and licked him.

Sunny breathed a sigh of relief. "No. I'm a loner, too. Thank goodness."

______

Hunter shifted a bit uncomfortably when she did that. "Oh, yeah..." Sugar didn't quite get what Sunny was saying but didn't tell her that. "Wanna go on a hunt?" she asked.

_____

Solar stood up. She didn't want to make Hunter feel unhappy or sad so decided to go on a hunt. "Goodbye," she said and began to walk off.
Sunny pondered on that for a moment, before she replied, "Sure. Do you know where any herds are?"

______

Hunter felt bad; he hoped he hadn't chased her off. He'd only done that because that was the kind of thing Azar did. "Where are you going?"
"Yes," Sugar said. "Follow me!" She bounded off.

_____

"I'm going on a hunt," Solar replied.

"Go get my mother!" she snapped, before breaking off into a painful and terrified whimper. "I'm in labor!"

(Saw your earlier post.... what happened to make you hate thieves?)

"WHAT?!" Phoenix yelped.

(I was trying on some boots at TSC and I set some money down beside me, K? I turned my back for 5 seconds, okay? Five seconds. And when I looked back, it was gone. 45 minutes of looking around the store later, the manager is looking back at the surveillance... And some stupid blankety-blank stole it!! )

"Just get her!" Faedon snapped again, before she broke off into a yelp. She whimpered as a contraction rippled through her.

(How many pups do you want?)

(That's awful! D:)

"Oh.... oh ok!" Phoenix wobbled out of the den, and raced for Senkah's, howling, "SENKAAAH!"

(Only like... one or two....)

(I know :( I feel so ticked, and yet so awful about it. I was right there when she did it!)

Senkah raced out of her den. "Phoenix, what in the heck is going on?!" She seemed quite ticked that he had yelled for her for seemingly no reason.

"Mother!" Faedon howled from inside her den.

Senkah's eyes flew open. For a minute, she completely forgot that Phoenix was there, and she raced into her daughter's den. "What's wrong?"

"I-I'm in labor, ma," Faedon choked out, before she yelped again. Her stomach noticeably rippled as a powerful contraction clutched her stomach.

Senkah raced out of the den, and returned with a small branch. "Bite down on this when the pain comes," she murmured to her daughter gently. The noise was attracting a crowd, but Senkah growled at them to ward them off and only allowed Phoenix and Hades inside.

"Thank you, mother," Faedon smiled up at her mother weakly, but gratefully, before she flinched again. "It just hurts so much..."

"It'll be okay, dearest," Senkah gently rasped her tongue over Faedon's forehead, just like she had when Faedon was a pup. Faedon blinked up at her mother gratefully with her stunning hunter green eyes. The two shared a bond like no other; that was clear by the scene in front of the Stonepack's wolves.

(You know who did it?)

Phoenix's paws danced on the dirt ground outside the den. His nose was cold, and his eyes flashed with worry. He began to pace, feeling a sickening ripple in his own stomach.

(Don't know her personally, but I saw her a few times in the store. The stupid idiot was sitting in the other aisle like a spider. She was waiting for me to turn my back  She was nearby when my mom talked to the manager about it. She was all nervous and stuff, and acted like we were interrupting something. (this was before we'd seen the surveillance video, so we didn't know it was her yet) :rant)

An agonizing hour that seemed like an eternity passed. A grand total of four (five or six?) beautiful pups were piled by the new mother's belly, suckling away at her milk. Faedon was exhausted, but exhilarated. Her heart soared with love for her beautiful newborn pups. So this is what a mother's love for her pups feels like, she thought.

(I'm taking three pups. If you want two or three more pups, I can raise the number in the litter)

Phoenix was still outside, a bit freaked out by the noise and happenings. He was on his belly, head on his paws, and stared worriedly at the trees.

(Sort of. We know what she looks like, and I'm pretty sure she's a regular TSC customer, and we have proof of the theft, so if she goes back in they'll arrest her selfish butt.)

"Phoenix?" Senkah padded over to him. "Why don't you come meet your new family? You're now a father to five pups."

(K!)

Oh dear God don't tell me I caught my dad's flu. :th

When is this crap gonna end???

Wildfire paced outside the den, blue eyes blazing as he wondered whether he should go in. Him and Zero weren't on good terms, and he didn't want to upset his mate further. Mumbling to himself, he thought, it's my den, too. I go in if I want. And with the grace of a revered alpha, he strode in.

Zero didn't snap at him or glare at him; in fact, she didn't even regard him at all. She had her back to him as she weaved some feathers into her nest.
Wildfire was greeted by Trista and Hallie, who eagerly bounded up to tell their father the day's news.

"I caught my first rabbit today, daddy!" Hallie said, nearly rolling on her paws in excitement.

"Good job, sweetie," Wildfire replied. "But for now, I need to go talk to your mom. Go catch her a rabbit or two, will you?"

"Okay!" the two white she-pups said in perfect usion, as if they had rehearsed it, bounding out of the den. Wildfire wouldn't doubt if they had done just so, either; the sisters were always finishing each other's sentences and such.

Thoughts aside, the black he-wolf joined Zero in weaving feathers into the tender moss, saying nothing.

Zero eyed him, but said nothing.
Wildfire returned the eyeing, rather sheepishly.

Zero, after weaving the feathers into the nest, went out into the sunshine.
Wildfire followed, surveying the pack with a critical, burning blue gaze. The densite buzzed with activity, and Robin was apparently bursting with excitement as she ran to her alphas: "Wildfire, Zero! There's a herd of caribou to the west!"
"Hm." Zero paused mid-step. "That's good. We were going to need to hunt again today, anyway. Tell Solar, Trista, and Hallie that they should join us."
Hallie and Trista were already bounding behind their parents, as excited as always. "Yes, yes, yes!" they said in one voice, running up ahead.

"Dunno where Solar is, Zero," Robin said sheepishly. "In fact, I can't seem to keep track of anyone these days."

( Hey, wanna RP on Survive The City? )

(I will soon. I need to chill out a bit. I am so ticked off right now.)

Zero closed her eyes in a bit of exasperation. Well, you're just a ton of help. "Okay, then. I guess I'll find her. Take Trista and Hallie to wherever you found them; I'll join you later."
( I know the feel; is it that annoying Aussie? My favorite out of all our dogs, an Aussidor, is gumming my big toe right now. )

Robin shrugged sheepishly, and with a slight flurry of bright red pelt, bolted off towards the west. Hallie and Trista followed eagerly, nose-to-nose with each other.
(Nope, thief.)

Zero searched around for Solar. When she didn't find her, she grumbled and followed Robin's scent trail.
Robin, Hallie, and Trista had located the caribou, and were stalking the grazing herd from the shadows.

Wildfire had stayed behind, waiting for Zero, and joined her as she followed the trio's scent trail.

Willow let out a howl of rage as she felt teeth tear down her side. Icy talons of fear gripped her spinal cord. She was immobile for a second as fear entwined through her body, finally igniting a deeply imbedded anger for DarkPack that she had always held. Ignoring the fact that she couldn't see her opponent, she lunged forward, jaws snapping wildly.

Kodiak grunted a bit as Willow crashed into him. Her fangs slashed open his shoulder, but Kodiak was as heavy as lead, and wounding him was hard. Kodiak couldn't fool around; he needed to kill this she-wolf, and fast. If she squealed to Stonepack about the plan, everything would be ruined. He reached down for the back of her neck and snapped at it; he wasn't going for the scruff, but instead he was going for the spine itself. If he could snap it, Willow would be done for, and Kodiak would make sure that she would just mysteriously disappear...

( Ugh. I don't know if she should die or live... I get horribly attached to my characters... )

Willow, with a high-pitched squeal, backed away quickly from Kodiak, paws stepping blindly and shakily. Without warning, she located the proper scent, and bolted towards the trail of it. She was going to StonePack, and Mother Nature help the wolf who tried to stop her.

With a vengeful snarl, Kodiak sprinted after her on muscular legs. But although he had been trained rigorously as a pup to be agile, Kodiak's sheer size made him slower. He was a powerful, huge, big-boned animal - not a desirable trait for speed. Despite this, he still pursued her, snapping his powerful jaws every now and then when her pelt came into reach.

( I'll kill her sometime or another. It's a given. )

Willow squealed like a newborn pup as teeth tore at her pelt. She wasn't the fastest wolf in the bunch; she wasn't slow, either.

Tipping her head back, she let out a loud, long howl, hoping that the wind would bring it to StonePack.

(Is it k if Kodiak at least knocks her unconscious? Just so that she won't tell Senkah and Hades what Darkpack's plan is.)

( Yes, knock yourself out. Pun intended. )
Kodiak dove for Willow's leg like a hawk. He snapped onto her leg and jerked upwards, attempting to fling her into the tree. After this (your choice whether it succeeds or not, I just want to properly exit him), Kodiak bolted for the border and disappeared.
Willow woke up a time later, opening her heavy eye lids slowly. This, of course, made no difference. She could still perceive light, but couldn't see anything material.

"What the heck happened?!?" she muttered groggily, lifting herself up to sit on her haunches. Something scraped against her back as she did so- the bark of a tree. Turning to sniff at it, she recognized a familiar scent. DarkPack. In her current state, instincts were telling her to follow that scent trail, but then she picked up a new one. StonePack.

Which one did she choose? Standing and shaking herself off, she began to walk towards StonePack's territory.

Cody was out and about in the forest. A thought suddenly came to him: Where's Willow?
Mumbling to herself, Willow used her sense of smell and hearing to locate StonePack camp. The two senses had grown considerably larger in time, and hey helped fill in the blank of her sight tremendously.
