Sad Day

Well today is a sad day for MainelyChicken and CluckingHam Farms. Even though im new to this i lost a chick last night. Don't know why, but feeling extremely sad. I love these ladies and feel a great loss. Does anyone know, where in northern New England where i can purchase health chicks? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Losing the little ones is always hard. I don't know of any place near you where you may get some chicks, but have a look here:

It is hard!!! We lost a chick a week ad a half ago. Very sad.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Its always so hard to lose chickens, no matter how old they are. I've lost a few during the couple years that I've been raising chickens, and have been sad about each one. I hope that your other chicks are all right, and that you can find some more healthy ones.

I am a nervous wreck with the 3 chicks that came with the hens, I didn't know they had chicks.

So sorry you lost one, I know it's hard.
