I let the chicken out in the yard today for the first time (they are 14 weeks and they live in a fenced-in coop with run). They went crazy for this plant and I cannot find clear information about its toxicity to chickens. Some of the chickens ate several full leaves before I could put them back in the run. Does anyone know about the toxicity of Celandine poppy (Stylophorum diphyllum) to chickens?
I found some information about other plants from the poppy family that are poisonous, so I am concerned if they will be ok, and if I should remove that plant.
Ideally I can keep growing it, It’s one of my favourites in my shady yard.
