Are these two chickens the same breed? They were part of the brown layer assortment from Hoover’s. What is Chicken 1 and Chicken 2?

There are many, many different names for the same outcome. Different breeds are used and different hatcheries come up with their own labels based on small differences. There's ISA Browns, Golden Comets, Red Stars etc. but all are Red Sex Links

Red sex link refers to created breeds that can be gender identified at hatching. There are many breed combinations and names. I believe Hoovers has at least two varieties of red sex links - cinnamon queens and Isa browns.
