Hi, I'm from sunny San Diego and boy is it sunny today...85F. Just got 3 laying hens and I am quickly becoming chicken obsessed! I have 2 Plymouth Rocks and 1 Arucana (She has the face feathers!). Can't wait to get a blue egg from her. I named the Plymouths Xena and Gabrielle and the Arucana is Buffy.

I'm in Fallbrook, a bit north of you. Been here for 4 months since moving from the bay area. It's days like this (102 degrees!) that I really miss it.

We have occasional meetups - there was one this past weekend, in fact. And every few months we do a large group order for Modesto Milling feed, if you're into high quality organic stuff.
