So, we have a roo. He needs to go. Reasons are various. We both have skills and although this will be our first bird to process, I have worked with animals and hunted a lot. So the killing and processing isn't the question.

It's the best way to save the feathers for processing. We are crafts people and artisans, and want to save the feathers. If we dunk in scalding, can we dry and save the feathers afterwards? Should we try to pluck before scalding the hackles and saddle and tail, and do the tough wings afterwards.

Wishing I had asked this earlier. He is going down today, so need ideas ASAP?
