Checkout how I created a "U" shaped seperator to go in the incubator durring lockdown that allows me to seperate eggs by type or breed so chicks are seperated as they hatch for banding identification. SEE PICS I made the section out of two cake cooling racks, cost $1.00,from The Dollar Tree. The sides are 4 1/2" high. The two sections fit together to span the incubator width and are secured with wire ties. I modified the ends with pliers to fit my styro type incubator. At present this is an experiment, i'll make further postings as my hatch occurs and i'll let you know how well this worked.

Nifty! I've got one separating the eggs from the light bulb and water tray in my HM Incubator (secured with styrofoam and duct tape!)
