I have six silkies from 2 - 4 weeks old. Five I got from a local breeder, and one that hatched out of 33 eggs I had shipped and USPS didn't like.
The one that is from the shipped eggs, Em, is around three weeks old. Last night, I noticed that she (?) is experiencing a bad case of shakes. I hoped that when I went to see them this morning, I would find that it had been a fluke, but she is still shaking. Upon further examination, I realize that she is not growing as fast as the others and she has lost the down under her wings and around her vent.
I examined and didn't find any mites and have given her a couple of drops of nutria drench. She is eating and drinking. I do not know what her poop look like.
Anyone have any other suggestions?
Thank you,
JW
