I have 3 different groups :love.... also, I have about 26 eggs divided in 2 incubators lol. I should candle them and see how they're developing

this is my roo and his daughters. I have been trying to breed rumpless with no luck , can anyone give advice on how to proceed as I have back breed for three generations with no luck yet.

It looks like your rooster has a partial tail, or a just a few feathers...that can affect your breeding program. My cockerel also has a few feathers, but he was nice and has lovely pinwheel tufts so I kept him as a short term breeder. I don't understand all the genetics involved with the rumpless gene. It is "incomplete dominant," depending on some other influences. I've heard a few people say that even with a rumpless rooster, you can still have a percentage of chicks that will have tails... Looking at your photos, my advice would be, sell the pullets (they are fully tailed and likely won't produce rumpless chicks when bred back to their sire), and purchase a couple of rumpless hens to go with your rooster. From there, select hard for rumpless chicks - don't tolerate any tail feathers until you get your flock going in the direction you'd like...That's what I would do, anyway....Best of Luck!
