Can anyone tell me the deal with the "sale room" at the Shawnee show? Do you have to be an exhibitor to sell birds? Just curious.

I've got a pretty good looking Buckeye cockeral (8-9 months old) that needs a new home...and 9 straight run chicks (6-7 weeks old) if anybody is interested.

Yes you do have to have birds entered in the show to be able to buy sale bird cage space at Shawnee. They do this to deter random people from bringing in unfit or poor quality stock just to unload them. There are still folks that sell from the parking lot all on the down low, but it's all good.

I emailed Terry Britt about the sale barn and this is what he said "Sales area will open at 5 pm on Friday and be open all day Saturday."
