I have never hatched chickens before. My friend, via usps, sent me some fertile eggs. Should i let them sit for a day before I put them in the incubator? They are Rhode Island reds and I'm using a little giant styrofoam incubator. Any tips would be appreciated!

I have never hatched chickens before. My friend, via usps, sent me some fertile eggs. Should i let them sit for a day before I put them in the incubator? Yes. Store them for the 24 hours point down. They are Rhode Island reds and I'm using a little giant styrofoam incubator. Any tips would be appreciated!
