Dad kept interrupting my photo shoot with his stupid fluffy butt; I think he wants me to stay away from his babies lol.

The Buff Orpington x Leghorn boys are big now, too!

Gonna be hard deciding who stays and goes. I wish roosters would get along better so I could keep more simultaneously. Gorgeous creatures.

The Orpington x Leghorn cross, Yorvir:

Unreal how much faster this one has matured! It rang true for all my Leghorn mix boys except the pure buff colored ones who seemed to favor the Orpington side.

Edit: Whoops, forgot to say they are about 18 weeks!

About 22 weeks, same boys!

Peckard (and Riker in the back, looking as good as Peckard did at 18 wks above):

He spends most of the day in horny jail, but took the opportunity to have quality time with the pullets who wandered over between photos. Absolutely a ladies' man!

My last hatchling was a singleton and you guessed it: boy. He's called Circle, for now.

I do like showing off my boys, but might also be bumping for more photos from others. 😉

They look like they have a golden cuckoo pattern.

This is Yanga my bantam lavender Orpington who has gone to live on a farm and be a show chicken/the founding father of a show chicken breeding program.

And then Took my Easter Egger with his sister Pip before they were also rehomed to a family on a rural property. I always wonder how they are doing.

Both boys were the perfect gentlemen and it broke my heart that I couldn’t keep them cos of council rules.
