I just saw this post, I hope it's not too late to post a picture of Calico, a mixed-breed bantam. He hatched under a broody hen from one of my hens' eggs. I never figured out his parentage or I would have tried to make more like him. He was just some interesting roll of the genetic dice. Poor guy got killed by a bobcat that had been snacking on the bantam flock that used to roost up high in a ficus tree.
