Nah I thought they would be but they are just Giant eggs.. she is about 3 yr old .. lays one every other day and it is huge .

One egg can almost fill up the bottom of my 6 inch skillet . And boy are the yolks dark sometimes darker than cheddar cheese .. They are free ranged .. I feed them fermented mash and I let them pick through the compost. I usually give them about 40 gal a week in vegetables and I have crumbles in the feeder .. just whatever they want to eat.. some like the fermented mash and some just like veggies and dry crumbs.. But they all love the veggies
