I hatched this baby out on July 1st. Half silkie half naked neck and a frizzle. Male? Female? I can’t tell! My other show girl is with same hatch day is absolutely a pullet. I can tell. But since this one is a frizzle I can’t tell.

I have silkies and have both backyard kinds and fancy ones and no matter, it's not until they are at least 4 months old, more like 5 or 6 months old, before I can definitively say what sex they are.

Gorgeous bird you have though!!

I would guess cockerel, but I could be off, I’ve never had a frizzle.

I'm pretty sure that's a cockerel, I think I'm seeing male specific feathering.
