Sick Chick?

At the risk of sounding dumb, what is a crop. I have never had one of my chicks do this.

Not dumb...The crop is in front and is where the feed goes before it gets processed in the gizzard..
Like a little pouch on the breast...

Sounds like you squeeze its crop every time you pick it up so the water it drinks comes back up..

I just googled what a crop is. Wow. Very intweresting. Now I understand. Thaat would explain why she seems to be drinking more water. Will definitely get some chick grit for them. I thougt they were still to young. Thanks so much for your input.

Your babies are adorable! I agree with @chickens really they are bright eyed, upright and healthy looking to me. I think you may just be mashing the crop when handling the chicks, this can make food/water come up.
