I got four keets a couple weeks ago. I have moved them to a small swimming pool on our covered back porch with a red heat light. I was feeding them wheat, barley, oats. They were doing well, then one of them started staying off by itself under the light. It acted tired, and hunched up. I was told to feed them different so I picked up some turkey starter and started putting ACV and electrolytes in the water. The little thing acts tired like I said until I threw bugs in there or tried to catch them when I put them out in their outdoor enclosure where I put them during the day when it's nice then it would go over and shut it's eyes and hunch over. It has hung on now for 4 days, and seems to be doing a little better, (it's up more often now and pecking around with the others)but now another one is acting like it did. I try to treat them naturally. Do you think it is cocci? What else can I try?

Well it could be a nutrition problem, make sure they are getting vitamin A, E, K, and B12. Those are some major things you should be looking for. With out the proper nutrition they can have lame growth, leg problems, wry, crook neck, and bad immune sytstems.

These are two really good sites to look at though. One talkes about diseases diagnosis, prevention, treatment. And the other talks about natural herbs to grow with incredible health benefits for them.
