My Silkies roost about 18 inches off the ground. They are ok with being held, but they are birds not cuddly kittens. The roosters crow as loud as most chickens. The hens make typical hen noises.

Yes, my Silkie roos crow more than my larger breed roosters. It's seems louder to me but I think it's because it's more shrill. The big boys have deeper tones.

My silkies can fly up about 3 feet, I keep them in a 4 foot fence and they can't fly over it. their roost is about a foot off the ground, but they do have a roost only about 6 inches off the ground and they use it too. Sorry, I know your metric and I'm not, some are somewhat cuddly, they are a breed that are more prone to going broody than most
