Hi there!

I am trying to figure out "breeding pens" for my silkies. I currently have two buff roosters, a mottled roo, and what I believe is a blue rooster.

I have several pullets. I will post a picture of.

I am wondering from what I have how I would distribute the breeding pens and what colors I could possibly get. I will try and post pictures in the comments since I am unsure how to in this post.

I really appreciate your time, and your help!!

Welcome to BYC!😊
Sorry for the delay in responding, overlooked this one somehow.

Most important question for you is: What are your breeding goals?

You will likely end up with a bunch of mixed colored chicks. Can you post clear individual photos of your boys? Can you tell me exactly what color hens you have?
It’s kind of hard to tell in the photos specifically.
Looks like you may have some silver partridge birds. You can keep all the partridge in one pen.
I would not mix the buffs with the blues. Recessive whites can carry pretty much anything underneath so hard to say what they will produce with anything other than another recessive white.

The bird in your first photo looks like a paint which is dominant white and black and will affect anything you breed this one with. If you can breed this one to a black that would be your best bet, you could also breed this one to a blue.

You can also group your blues, blacks and splash in one pen. You could place your paint in this group as well.

You also have some different genetics going on with the feather types and a naked neck as well, which you also have to take into account.
Most people keep Silkies in specific color pens in order to know exactly what the chicks will look like. When you have different colors mixed together it’s more difficult to determine what will come out of it. If you are just breeding for fun and want to have some interesting colored chicks, then you can mix-and-match however you please.😊

Edited for spelling
