I’m thinking this one is a cockerel

And I’m thinking a pullet for this one but this is based on head fluff theory. I’m interested in what y’all think

Hello! Silkies are hard to sex, supposedly one of the hardest breeds to determine gender until age of maturity. Are you able to get a side-view picture of each, preferably standing up straight and not looking for food on the ground? LOL

Probably not 🤣 I love them but not the waiting game. They’re still young but in a couple of weeks I’ll know for sur e

Yeah LOL. Are you able to get those pictures now though? Sometimes I can tell by their tail feathers and posture when standing up.
And here’s the second one. Best I could get right now of this one

Okay. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure, but it looks like the first is a pullet and the second is a cockerel. The little ‘strands’ of odd feathers in the tail on the second one and the absence of wattles on the first are what make me think so. However, I could be wrong.
