Heck no ! If the darn rooster would just start to mate, that would be nice! I have 2 Ameraucanas penned with the older ones. THEY are both laying! Very nice blue eggs, I might add.

Just to let you know ..... 100% development in the eggs you sent! Over a dozen eggs went into lockdown, and are due to hatch on Saturday, Aug 7. Batch # 2 has 100% development, as well, but with 2 bloodrings. They are due Aug 12. Most of these are the next generation, and a few of the originals are in there, too.

Number 5 is now totally hatched, and is black. Julie has mostly black Ameraucana girls, but I did give her one blue one also. So far it looks like, 1 splash, 1 black, 3 blue.

ETA: I should have said, #5 looks black. It is most likely a dark blue.
