Silkie has baby chick

That's what I wanted to hear!
Do I have make any special accommodations for the chic or just let nature take its course
It's only 2 days old
My rooster died and I am trying to carry on his legacy
I have another egg under a black naked neck silkie that was from the rooster (Sir Duke) it will be hatching soon I think
Roo was a bantam Mille de Floure D'Uccle

Are there other chickens that could pick on the baby or is it somewhat protected? Mom can only protect so much, especially a silkie.

It's really small and beautiful
I'll have to post some pictures
Thank you for welcoming me
My wife is the real owner of the chickens and I'm the husband but we were always turning to backyard chickens for info so I'd thought I'd join
What we have is 4 chics all silkies
A black naked neck silkie soft feathers that's sitting on an egg named Abigail
A white naked neck fizzle (I guess) shes the one that the egg hatched named Ophelia
A white painted named Henrietta
And a white one named Fiona
As far as I know they are harmless but you can't always be sure
