Silkie Tractor

Allaboutdemchicks (Claudia) gave Vicki a pair of juvenile Silkies.
I set about to make them a little tractor.
She measures four feet wide, 6 feet long and 3 feet high.
Door swings down (hinged on the bottom) in the front.
Side of the roost area slides up and out for access.
Made from 100% scrounged materials, except for the wire.

Excellent job there Mike!! Those blue babies are going to LOVE that nice tractor, and so will Mrs. Vicki when she tends to them.

Mike, your Silkies are still young, the pullet's crest will get so large that they might develop an problem with being able to see. This could become an issue when they travel up and down the ramp. Watch for this and if it does become a problem, widen the ramp for them. I have this blessing/curse with my Silkies.

I hope Vicki enjoys the Silkies, and the great new tractor.
