Silkies - They’re simply SPECTACULAR!

My Polkie babies are looking really nice!
Also turns out they're accidentally Sexlinked so two girls and a boy, which is nice!

I'll be getting my Showgirls and a few hens this week too!

I am hoping to get a better photo of him/her (not sure of genders yet) but they're sleeping right now, anyone know what color these light/pastel brown Silkies are? Came with siblings who are chocolate, black, and blue, so maybe a chocolate mixed with a white Silkie?

Last photo is him or her rolling around with siblings in sunlight (the lightest one in the middle between the blue and chocolate one,) just wanted to show how light the pants are compared to the back feathers. Had "blonde" or yellowish feathers as a chick that are now more light brown/dusty brown/purpleish, but I'm not sure what the color would be called!

@Gammas Bearded Babies I have a light partridge boy if you want him! Been busy as heck all summer, now I'm inundated with winged kids! The one in the front is calico splash.. He’s a beauty I am toying with the idea of borrowing my friends silkie Roo for my silkie ladies, and hatching some chicks in the Spring.

Maybe…. Currently I have way too many chooks but they are addictive! At least they pay their way with eggs! Same cannnot be said of my horses

@Hinotori Remember this gal (F2)? She's producing some really nice kids.. And I peeked in the dog crate where the nesting box is, and she has her first hatched baby with her.. Her previous spawn were hatched in the incubator..

Gonna get some pics today. She's in with Shadow Captain the Calico Splash Roo. Here we go! Got one of her sitting on the eggs with #1 peeking out. All the whitish chicks in these shots are hers.

This youngster is actually doing momma duty...

Here's stuff from another project pen.
Lancelot and His 2 remaining ladies... (Lakota was stolen one night with several of her chicks, and it wasn't the first time I got hit.) The two remaining hens are almost identical.

The one on the left is a daughter..

The majority of the pullets turn out like these

I put 2 daughters like the one on the rightin with Gen Lee the silver partridge.
The majority of boys (4 out of 16) were silver based partridge, and two reds. The silver partridge are D'Artagnon, Artimis and Athos

I guess this lil boy will be Pathos

This is the second red partridge.. the older one wasn't cooperating today. But they are identical.
