how do you tell a boy from a girl ?? what about polish??

With silkies the way you tell is with the size of the comb as well the the head feathers with they are more coformed and round then it is more likely a girl but if the head feathers have some numerous feathers that go out more than more likely a boy good luck as well it as is harder to tell if they are still young and maturing
