So are they 9 weeks old now? If so, definitely thinking male even though the lacing is trying to look tricky... I feel like it's dark barring instead of white. I don't see saddle feather development yet for real confirmation. But my computer won't let me zoom in where I want to try and look closer.Update on these two... they’re looking pretty red..

I don't think other photos will help until the saddle feathers start coming in more. But they definitely appear male. Too red too early.Yes, 8-9 weeks I think, what photos would help, I can take some more?
I’m thinking rooster we do have a Lavender Rooster that’s just started crowing, he’s got to go!
Pity, they’re so lovelyI don't think other photos will help until the saddle feathers start coming in more. But they definitely appear male. Too red too early.
EVERY bird is an individual. I have had some start crowing as young as 8 weeks. While others may not have tried before 35 weeks!Pity, they’re so lovely
How old will they be when they start crowing do you think? Lavender is only 9 weeks!
They're both cockerels, could have been either of them trying his pipes out.I’m 95% sure one of them crowed this morning, argh!
Question is, which one?!? And now we have to find them a new home

I know I already told you I thought both were male. Now I can see saddle feathers in addition to the other clues. I agree with debid, they MUST both go.. doesn't matter who tried their voice out first, neither one of them is going to lay you an egg. Sorry.I’m 95% sure one of them crowed this morning, argh!
