Silver sebright Laying habits?

We have for silver sebright hens and one rooster comma at one point we had 84 eggs in their clutches. We can hold them down to about 30 eggs and left them in there Lane boxes where we found them. However they don't ever seem to sit on their eggs, like ever. Is that normal? They are less than a year old comma around about 9 months old to be exact

Although broodiness can occur in some strains of Sebrights, they are generally regarded as a non broody breed.
