The hatch rate was pretty low, it was my first time incubating. I probably needed to turn my eggs a lot more, they went 4 days longer than they were supposed to. I'm just glad I got a group at all. I think next time I will try an automatic egg turner.

Here is a few photos. First the eggs, my favorite! Then here is a photo of some young buttons they are just 7 weeks old and laying pretty good. Time to seperate out all the extra males!

Eee! So cute!

I need to get some more females. They are so hard to find in my area that I don't want to get rid of any of them. But my poor girls are getting harassed.

Yes, we sell them. These 7 week old birds are $4.00 each. Or if you prefer chicks I am setting another batch this week, so in 2 weeks I will have chicks and they are $2.00 each.
