SLW red sexlink cross?

I read somewhere that crossing a Rhode island Red or a new Hampshire red rooster over a SLW hen would produce sexlink offspring is this true? i have a SLW hen and access to a Rhode island red rooster what comb will they have

Yes that will produce Red Sexlinks. However you will probably get some of the m rosecombed. Not bad really especially if you live in a colder climate.

Thanks I'm gonna pick up the Rhode island Red this week I prefer the rose comb just like it I guess
