So we have ducks that are two years apart. The older ones have been laying eggs in a nest. The younger ones are just turning 4 months old. Yesterday I found an egg in our sandbox and it was tiny. It's smaller than a chicken egg but the shell feels fully formed and it's the correct shape. Is this from the younger ducks? Or possibly a different animal entirely (though not likely). We've had immature eggs in the past but they were full size and just had a soft shell instead so I'm not sure what to think about this finding!

Just like Chickens they lay what's called Pullet eggs If from a young bird. Or older ones can lay Fart or fairy eggs..

Oh I had never heard them called that but assume it's from the younger duck since it was laid the same day mama laid one in her nest. I candled it and it definitely has a yolk but it's so cute. If only they hatched miniature ducks!
