Smushed like combs?

So my 12 week old chicks started getting their combs in a few weeks ago. I noticed when it happened but forgot to ask and now some of the others are looking like it. A couple of my EE's have smushed like combs coming in. Is this normal?

Do you have pictures?
Not sure what you mean by smushed comb?
Is it a pea comb?

Yes, EEs are supposed to have pea combs and they are normal
