So, I’ve been treating my duckling with vitamin E, electrolytes, Nutra Drench and scrambled eggs. I need to get some selenium though. She can eat and drink but it so hard to watch. Her siblings are so good to her and stay by her side.
I massage her neck lightly as well. I did make a brace because I was desperate, I just took if off and it did nothing.
The crook is down very low on her neck, so the brace didn’t cover it.
If I manually straighten her neck it doesn’t cause pain and looks perfect when I hold it straight. It’s so sad and frustrating!!
I love my babies and want to know if she’s in pain. I scoured the internet when I’m supposed to be working and everyone seems to agree on the regimen I’m doing, but it’s been 3 days and no improvement except she doesn’t flip on her back anymore.
She mostly rests her neck on small pillows or her siblings backs, but she does walk, kick, peep, run and poo normally.
I will take some time tomorrow to thank and reply to everyone!

Which exact poultry feed are you feeding it?
Please do not wrap a birds neck up again. That can cause more damage.

I’m feeding her duckling starter feed from Truck and tractor supply. Scrambled eggs, vitamin E, Nutra Drench, electrolytes. I need selenium, I heard that they can’t absorb vitamin E without it. I read she needs niacin as well.
I made the mistake of watching YouTube and everyone was putting braces on.
It’s off now and I won’t put anything else on her neck. Is there any chance it will get better?
I spend hours per day nursing her and she can eat but she doesn’t like to drink.,
