I had a chicken this morning that was looking a bit off she appeared to be leaking from her vent . Immediately got started with the Epsom salt bath
after several we started get some movement .

The egg was definitely broken open as yolk was
coming out broken . Then it appeared the shell
was there hanging out but she had been at it
so long I gently nudged it out it appeared to be
Intact but obviously no yolk. Then within seconds she started pushing and another one
came out. I have been having issues with soft
shells regardless of all my attempts at supplements and they have access to all grit
Oyster and egg shell. So my question is I dont
have access to any antibiotics would oregano
oil be a good substitute does anyone else have
a suggestion I’ve read they can get an infection
from this?

What exactly do you feed this bird on a daily basis?

Getting an infection from an egg breaking inside can happen but an infection already brewing could have caused the egg issue to begin with.

No canada

Scratch or table scraps?
Any treats?

Were they vaccinated for Marek's disease?
No table scraps they get a bit mealworms a couple times a week more so in the winter .
I do give Greek yogurt a couple times a wk or
Kefir some cucumber or peas in there ice on
warm days herbs parsley/dill/oregano
Some cherry tomatoes from the garden when
I have extra and on occasion broccoli diced
That’s about it and some oatmeal when it’s
Colder. I recently switched to A layer ration
which more grains and corn in it I have been
doing a 50/50 mix with there other feed

Oh boy... I highly recommend that you stop feeding all of this stuff. And I mean all of it and only feed the 18% layer feed. And switch back to a pelleted or crumbled feet and not a whole grain feed.

The 18% layer feed is a complete balanced diet.
Every time you feed any of the stuff mentioned above, you are taking away from that bird getting a balanced diet.
Not getting a balanced diet causes the exact issues you're having in these birds.
