Softshelled egg in bantam flock

Found a softshelled egg in the bantams pen don't know if it is today's egg or an egg from a few day's ago it was in a weird spot hard to see so idk. I've gotten one before from the full size hens so I know what they are. But the reason I'm posting is because it's 2x the size of what the hens lay. Idk if softshelled eggs are bigger but if not my only other theory is that we had some almost ready to lay chicks in with the bantams so idk if they just laided it a few day's ago before we moved them with our full sized hens
