Welcome To BYC

How old are they?
Where are you located in the world?
What do you feed?

Photos of the birds, their poop and housing may be helpful.

Without more info, it's hard to know what to suggest.

Look them over for lice/mites, see that they are eating a nutritionally balance poultry feed (Chick Starter) and that their crops are emptying.

I'm wondering if she's broody. She is a Silkie, after all.

Definitely look her over for health issues and poop pics will help. But losing weight, not eating a bunch, sitting in a corner and plucking her feathers could describe my perpetually broody Silkie hens.

I'm still leaning toward broody unless there's something unusual about her poop or her level of alertness. Broodiness is triggered by hormones. It can happen any time. I had a 4 year old hen go broody for the first time in her life last year.

If you pick her up and take her elsewhere in the run, what does she do?
