On one of my 4 Austrolorps on each side of her body in the same basic area, there is a black raw looking area about the size of a quarter. What could this be? How do I treat it?

Yes it's possible. Rooster mounting sore are usually found under the wing while those in your picture look further back, more like a back toe digging in.
