So I dont' breed purebreds or show birds. I have a bunch of mutts that cross breed and what not, nothing fancy.

I've gotten the idea to try to breed my Spangled hamburg with my blue cochin.

Is it possible to get a blue bird with black spangling? I'm not looking to create a new breed or color, I'm just wondering if this has occurred in other breedings before?

All you did what change one word :p

Thanks for the info. I guess we will see what pops out :)
I am not sure what your question is?..

Do you know why Black laced blue bird exist? yeah a blue based bird with black lacing. thats because the blue gene(which is only one copy of splash Bl/b+) cant dilute Pg and ML on a extended black bird

My question is "Are blue birds with black spangles genetically possible"

I'm not well versed on the genetic terms so its all spanish to me

If you were to succeed in creating one that would be amazing. Because it shouldn't be possible.
You can't get a double lace on a solid blue chicken for the same reasons.
