Any NPIP spitz in the Northern Kentucky area? Hatching eggs or chicks for pick up?

I have 5 hens and a rooster....almost laying age. Guess I will keep them and see if I can get some chicks as soon as possible.

I am in Fayetteville NC and would love to help keep the line interest growing!

I set 5 eggs yesterday....hope to set more in the days ahead on a staggered hatch.

I have a chamois pair....hoping to have eggs this fall. At what age do they usually start laying? I also have a GS. Do I need a GS to breed to her or is she OK with the chamois. I can tell you about silkies, polish and rhodebars but not a thing on spitz!

I have 4 hens and one roo...just candled and looks good so far.

All are black/white

I am sure you need same color for true breeding but stock genetic history will determine offspring. Any oddity in the past could very well affect the outcome

I will keep updates

I have set 8 more this week.. hoping for some chicks out of these!!!

Mine are around 6 months old...bought them feathered out and growing so not sure of exact age

Should have 16-17 in incubation or under a broody hen..
