Steele Eggers from Meyer Hatchery

Yes. I saw that. Looks exactly like mine. I got two 2nd week of January. They still have not laid any eggs yet though. I hope they lay eggs soon ☺️

I’ve had a Steele Egger since April 2020. She’s a lovely bird. A little bit of a drama queen, but sweet with a great personality, and VERY smart. Here’s her trying out an open bag of flake as a possible nest.

Just saw this post from years ago, but wonder if you found your answer, if not, I have 4 steel eggers and they are delightful ! Very friendly and mine are very pretty too. They have muffs and a crest 2 are greyish blue and 2 are cream with just a tiny bit of grey spotting in small areas along the back of the neck. This is a picture of mine when they were just over 2 months old. I really like them !

Anyone have any experience with these birds? I'm intrigued, but want to hear from folks who've raised them. TIA!
Mine hasn’t started laying (any day/week now) but she is very skittish like my Rhode Island Red. Otherwise sweet when you can catch her!

Crested and bearded. Look like a recreation attempt of the UK/NZ/AUS tailed Araucana!
These are my blue (Australian) Araucana
