I have a buff Orpington/ salmon favorell mix(I think), named Delilah. She’s about 7 months old so she just recently started laying.

Anyways on to the story.

I went out to their nesting box area, and saw that she was in one of the nesting boxes. We don’t let our chickens sit yet so I opened the door to grab the eggs from her. I picked her up a little and moved her to the side. It was then that I realized she had at least 3 eggs tucked into each wing. All of them went rolling around the nest as she started clucking her head off and went in total panic mode. She tried scooping them back into a pile but I took them before she got a chance to.

My chicken escapes no matter what we do. It's so annoying! And she has no fear of dogs, so that doesn't help.
