So august 7th i received some more 1 day old Bresse for my flock and the others have been growing nicely as of today (september 7th) and have feathered out one however has just seemed to well-stop!

She had always been slightly smaller but she gained her wing feathers and just seemed to stop i separated her from them and moved her in with smaller birds (bantams) around her size but a bit older than her to make sure it wasnt a matter of her not getting food and water,

then they were bigger than her but shes not grown or lost weight.

gave corid to everyone including her and nutri drench

any ideas? doesnt seem to have any issues other than lack of development
Fully feathered bird is one of the others from the same shipment and the same age all the others are fully feathered now

If you are feeding a good chick starter, or an all-flock feed that's fresh by mill date, you are doing fine. She might be a bantam, or have a health issue that's not going to be manageable in spite of the good care she's getting. Heart, liver, or kidney problems come to mind. If her poo is normal, there's nothing to fix there.
'Failure to thrive' covers a lot of territory, which in chickens isn't going to be fixed.

It could be a runt.
I once had a batch of Freedom Rangers and one cockerel grew slowly. He ended up half the size of even his pullet flock mates. He was otherwise healthy and perfectly normal. I didn't separate him from his friends and I recommend you do the same.

If given at the same time, they work against each other. :hmm

Neither of those birds look like Bresse to me.

Are you using chick starter feed?

My best guess would be breed mix up followed by weird genetics since their are no signs of illness or deficiency. :pop

Hope it thrives! :fl
not at the same time, they are splash bresse not white from Bresse farms.

Bresse come in white, blue, black and splash.

yeah, =/ gave her gamebird starter feed thats 28% hoped that would help but nope poops normal someone said to try poly vi sol or that there could be a digestive tract deformity i will say for her size shes not really skinny think im just going to keep feeding her and giving her vitamins and see if she ever catches up .

dont think there are bantam bresse? i will say i have bantams her age bigger than her right now

she's a splash from bresse farms

for anyone curious bresse come in white, blue, black and splash.

Lay off the gamebird starter. 28% is appropriate for quail, partridge, turkey, etc. chicks and poults. But that is waaay too much protein for chickens at any age.

typically its for my longtails it was given to this one because of my concerns over her size that amount is not inappropriate for longtails

Have you contacted the breeder? I would, at least to inform them and ask about any issues they've had. It would be terrific if they replaced her or sent a refund!
Mary
went ahead and messaged them and asked about it i dont expect a refund but i do think they need to know in case there is an issue.
