Surviving Minnesota!

Way too hot and humid for me. We could lose 40-50 degrees and do ok..
It says 50% humidity..NOT GOOD for old fat people like me!...

I lost Sidekick today he was dead by the waterer about 2 hours ago. He is in the crematory now. I assume he just could not handle the heat either. I should have ate him after JJ died like I talked about doing.. NO LOVE LOST here condolences not needed. He was just livestock.

I am worried about the toads. They were huffing and puffing last night at chicken TV time...

I walked through my garden which is sunflower and corn this year. Actually it is sunflower and very little corn. I spread the seed on the ground and used a drag to get it down a tad. (Primitive Farming). I think I have 7 corn plants about 4 inches high out of 10 pounds of seed. I am guessing the birds might have helped themselves to the rest.

I should plant more trees but they can wait until fall, those 5 apples I have out there will hold me over winter, if the deer don't get them first.

Banti A raindance please!!!!!

Ralphie, you may find this amusing ? Last evening we were returning from an event where my wife was celebrating the good fortune of her 45th wedding anniversary and as we were traveling up I35 between the Black Bear Casino and Scanlon cut off there was a Black Bear walking in the ditch next to the freeway. I hope no one hit him, as he would have done some serious damage to a vehicle. He was traveling South toward your place.

Grats on 45 years..

Are you splitting your winnings with us today?

Well I had to google I was thinking bruin was the male term for bear. But that's a boar.. forgot that. Bruin can refer to either. I stand corrected. Bruin is also Dutch for brown, btw... lol.

Good Day yesterday. Stopped at a pool party. And Dinner with my folks. sister is up.

My dad is grumpy as heck. Time for more cortisone in his knees. Oi he's a bossy grumpy old codger.

Happy anniversary Ed. I think your wife needs to buy lottery tickets. Super lucky!

We have the rain coming down here pretty well today. Ground is soaked. Chickens not coming out of the run.

I have not seen jerry yet this trip. Our circles are different must be. Last trip I must have seen him 3 times in town.

The nasty weather is hitting us right about now, dark as night, windy and some not so friendly clouds in the sky...

See you the other side of the storm...
